The Touch of Scarlet Qipao - Black with Red Edge

For those of you looking for something subdued to wear to a celebratory occasion, this is the qipao for you. I chose it as the classic older sister to The Little Red Qipao, the bright scarlet lace qipao in the collection. 

It is mostly black and very sophisticated, with black stone buttons from the collar down to the side slits. It isn't all serious though, the contrasting scarlet edging pops and will get you all of the attention you were secretly wishing for.

Made from a light wool-blend knit,  this long sleeved qipao is perfect for spring and fall. 

• Material: Wool and Cotton blend light knit / Cotton lining
• Collar height: 5cm (approx. 2 inches)
• Sleeves: 8/10 sleeves 
• Length: 120cm (approx. 47 1/2 inches)
• Fastening: Stone pankous from collar down right hand side
• Front: Single sided large round front

• In order to accomodate daily wear, our qipaos have been designed with a relaxed fit at the waist. If you prefer for it to be more fitted, simply take in the two back darts (two vertical stitched lines at the back waist area). It is very quick and easy to do
• CUSTOM SIZE: we are trialling custom sizing on some of our qipaos, if you are interested in this option, please contact us with online chat or email first. Note this option customizes the bust, waist and hip measurements of the qipao only, and does not create a bespoke dress which would be at a far greater cost. The waiting time for this option is 10-14 days, customised dresses are non-exchangeable and refundable.
